온고을 소리청은 국내 첫 부부 명창인 김일구·김영자씨 부부가 운영하는 국악전수관이다. 각종 판소리 기획공연과 더불어 전통창극을 활성화시키고 있는 이곳은 우리 전통소리문화의 우수한 상품성을 개발하고 이를 널리 알리는 일을 하고 있다.
폭이 넓은 나무 대문 위로 올라온 능소화가 초여름을 아름답게 장식하고 있는 온고을 소리청은 전주를 배경으로 촬영된 MBC 아침 일요 드라마‘단팥빵’(극본 이숙진·연출 이재동)의 주된 촬영 장소로 극중 가란(최강희 분)과 선희(류현경 분)가 살던 집이기도하다.
Ongoeul Soricheong is a hall for the inheritance of Korean traditional music run by Kim Il-gu and Kim Young-ja, the first couple myeongchangs (sori master artists). They make all sorts of special programs and try to revitalize Korean classical operas in order to develop the superior culture of our traditional sori into a great commodity and spread it worldwide.
Ongoeul Soricheong, whose wide wooden gates are enveloped with the beautiful flowers by the name of trumpet creepers, like the panoramas of the early summer, was the house where Garan (starred by Choi Gang-hee) and Seon-hee (starred by Ryu Hyeon-gyeong) lived in MBC’s drama titled 'Danpatbang'. The drama was shot mainly in Jeonju and was written by Lee Suk-jin and directed by Lee Jae-dong. |
